Lock Stock and...

More recently with me, I've been really interested in target shooting. Being back in Malaysia has unlocked the inner bad-ass in me that has always been trying to break out. In Australia, I would never get the chance to visit the shooting range untill I got home on holiday, and even when I was back home, my age limited me to going with my brother or dad (Which was often, but not often enough).

Fast forward to now, visiting the shooting range has left me slightly wanting...MORE. It feels thrilling putting 15 rounds into a target the shape of Bin Laden, but it made me realise one more thing - I'm actually not too bad at it (Humble award of the Year) but seriously, the difference between video games and real-life is just... indescribable. So many people I know love guns, but have never shot one. Nothing wrong with liking things, but I mean...I think EVERYONE should at least try shooting a gun under supervision at least once in their life. The raw power of the Glock 18's hammer smashing down on that bullet, sliding back to eject the casing and hoping that last shot you did lined up with your target is awesome, or the thrill of calling pull and aiming your barrel up to a small flying disc and pulling that trigger, obliterating the clay pigeon into fragments is an awesome feeling.

On to other news, my dog should be arriving in 2 weeks.
Missing Melbourne.
But loving life.

Nuff Said.
